Bio.....

ANNAmaria Elston was born in 1969 in Catterick Camp Yorkshire - England ( her Dad: Lee Elston, who was in the Kings Regiment and her mother: Kathleen, who was from Guyana - South America ) .

ANNA didn't grow up in one place ! ( ..but traveled to various countries that her dad was posted to ) as such Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland ..etc!

She attended boarding school in Germany at the age of 13 and found her love for dancing, being influenced by break-dancing and robotics ( she also enjoyed writing poems about everyday life ) .

In 1983, she moved back to England for 2 years ( then went to live in Guyana for 22 years ) growing up in a village on the East Coast Demerara .

One day walking on Robb St. ( located in the Capital City, Georgetown ) she heard some Rock to Reggae fusion sounds of a band, echoing from inside of a enclosed downstairs ( the band: Stone Blind was working under another moniker: Exxis, at the time ) this in turn sparked her interest in music .

After becoming a friend of the members of Exxis/Stone Blind, ANNA met the members of another band: Scion ( later, Pearls To Swine ) and they became friends that span over a decade .

There were lyrics ( that she had written ) and was made into songs, such as "Live Wire" and "Yesterday" by the post-Pearls To Swine, band: Burning Bush in which, she was a part of...

ANNA also was the hostess of a local sponsored telecast in which herself and co-assistant, Micheal Roberts (r.i.p), had founded ! ( the programme was Rock affiliated ) and had been under the banner: Rocktopia.

ANNA had been as guest vocalist, performer in other projects ( such as Braindrain, Tech21... ) and simply states the following: "I have enjoyed being involved in the Rock music fraternity in Guyana
and will never forget that part of my life, the great friendships that I had made throughout those years....."
